Super Falcons Welcome Ucheibe and Ordega for Senegal Friendlies

The Super Falcons have expanded their squad with the arrival of midfielder Christi Ucheibe from Benfica and forward Francisca Ordega from Al Ittihad for their training camp in Ikenne, Ogun State, in preparation for two friendly matches against Senegal. Both players joined the camp on Wednesday morning, alongside Glori Ogbonna, Bless Nkor, Comfort Erhabor, and Sikiratu Isah.

The team continues to prepare for the friendlies scheduled for Friday and Monday, as confirmed by team media officer Mari Akinsola. Earlier arrivals included eight players on Tuesday evening, such as Tosin Demehin, Toni Payne, and Bless Ilivieda.

The total number of players in camp has now reached 17, including six-time CAF Player of the Year Asisat Oshoala. The matches against Senegal are part of Nigeria's preparations for the 2026 Women's Africa Cup of Nations, which will take place in Morocco in July, with the team aiming to secure their 11th title and qualify for the 2027 FIFA Women’s World Cup in Brazil.
