Yilwatda Urges Northern Support for Tinubu's 2027 Bid

Yilwatda, the national chairman of the Progress Congress, declared the importance of northern Nigeria supporting President Tinubu's re-election bid for 2027 during a solidarity rally in Nasarawa State on Thursday. He highlighted the achievements of Tinubu's administration since assuming office in 2023, including infrastructure projects aimed at enhancing the northern region's capacity.

Yilwatda pointed out significant initiatives such as the construction of roads, dams for irrigation, and a railway line connecting Abuja to Kano, which would facilitate trade with neighboring countries. He urged the northern populace to reciprocate the support given by Tinubu, emphasizing that failure to do so would be detrimental to the region.

Governor Sule of Nasarawa State was praised for his governance and infrastructure development across the state's 13 local government areas. The rally, organized in collaboration with the state ministry of local government and community development, aimed to mobilize grassroots support for Tinubu's achievements and the APC.
