Obasa and Ambode Back Tinubu's 2027 Reelection Bid

On Saturday, during an interfaith prayer session organized by the Mandate Movement in Ikeja, Lagos State, Mudashiru Obasa, the Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, and former Governor Akinwunmi Ambode urged Nigerians to support President Bola Tinubu's reelection bid for 2027. They emphasized the importance of continuing Tinubu's administration beyond 2027 to consolidate gains and renew hope for national development.

Obasa noted Tinubu's achievements, including the removal of fuel subsidies and the creation of an education loan fund, which have positively impacted Nigeria's socio-economic landscape. Ambode praised Tinubu's leadership legacy and called on Nigerians to unite behind his reelection campaign.

The event also featured remarks from other political leaders and stakeholders, including Babajide Sanwo-Olu's Chief of Staff, Tayo Ayinde, who commended Tinubu's efforts in repositioning the economy. The prayer session was attended by various faith community leaders and APC members across Lagos State.
