Suspect in Monaco Bomb Attack Found Dead in Kyiv

Anastasiia Berezovska, a Ukrainian national, was identified as the main suspect in the June 29 bomb attack targeting Ukrainian businessman Vadym Yermolaiev in Monaco. The Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) discovered her body in Kyiv, reportedly with a gunshot wound to the head.

The SBU stated that a former law enforcement officer confessed to killing Berezovska, claiming he acted on his own initiative without informing his superiors. The attack, which occurred in Monaco, injured three individuals, including a child.

Monaco's head of state, Prince Albert II, condemned the bombing as an "odious act." Interpol had issued a red notice for Berezovska, who was charged with attempted murder and conspiracy. During the investigation, SBU officials found evidence of cryptocurrency transfers linked to Berezovska and discovered a basement resembling a torture chamber at the home of a former law enforcement officer.

The investigation continues as authorities seek to identify the organization behind the assassination attempt.
