Suspects Request Photo with Police After Cocaine Arrest

In Delta State, two suspects were apprehended by the Delta State Police during a stop-and-search operation conducted by the Safer Highways patrol team. The suspects were found in possession of cocaine and two Beretta pistols, which they claimed were for protecting their drug business.

Delta State Police Public Relations Officer Bright Edafe announced the arrest in a Facebook post on Tuesday, emphasizing the importance of ongoing stop-and-search operations. Following their interview, the suspects, seemingly unfazed by their situation, requested a photograph with Edafe.

He recounted that they became excited when they realized he wanted to interview them, even asking for a picture afterward. Edafe humorously agreed but told them to return for the photo after serving their prison term.

The incident was captured in a viral video, where one suspect recognized Edafe, acknowledging his prominence as the police spokesman.
