Ebonyi Commissioner Mbam Apologizes After Suspension

Lebechi Mbam, the Commissioner for Infrastructure Development in Ebonyi State, has publicly accepted blame and apologized to Governor Franci Ogbonna Nwifuru after being indefinitely suspended. The suspension was announced by Governor Nwifuru over allegations of dereliction of duty, with specific reference to lapses in the discharge of responsibilities within the Ministry of Works.

In a statement, Mbam acknowledged the weight of leadership and accepted responsibility for unmet expectations, emphasizing his commitment to reassess operations and improve weak areas. He expressed regret for any perceived disappointments and assured that he would not take the opportunity for a second chance for granted.
