Former Benue State Governor Gabriel Suswam Joins APC Amid Internal Party Conflicts

Former Benue State Governor Gabriel Suswam has officially joined the All Progressives Congress (APC) after exiting the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) citing persistent internal conflicts. Suswam registered his membership in Benue State, Nigeria, at the Mbagber Council Ward in Logo Local Government Area.

The registration was conducted at the state party secretariat by James Ornguga on behalf of the state chairman. Suswam expressed gratitude for the opportunity provided by the PDP but highlighted the unresolved internal conflicts within the party as the reason for his defection.

He emphasized the need for a clear pathway to resolving disputes and maintaining ideological discipline within political parties. Suswam acknowledged the platform the PDP provided for his service to the Nigerian people in various capacities over the years.
