SWAN Orders Blackout on NFF Coverage Amid Maladministration Allegations

The Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN) has ordered a total blackout on coverage of the Nigerian Football Federation (NFF) activities. SWAN criticized the NFF's leadership for alleged maladministration and fostering division in football administration.

SWAN described the NFF's exclusion as unacceptable and retrogressive, impacting national football development negatively. SWAN directed its members nationwide to cease coverage and promotion of NFF activities immediately.

A task force will enforce compliance, and a thorough investigation into the NFF's alleged maladministration will be launched. SWAN reaffirmed its role as a critical stakeholder in Nigerian football and vowed not to accept marginalization.
