SWAN President Commends Uba Sani on Stadium Upgrade

Isaiah Benjamin, the president of the Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN), commended Kaduna State Governor Uba Sani for the ongoing rehabilitation and upgrade of the iconic Ahmadu Bello Stadium. Benjamin described the project as a significant investment in sports development and youth empowerment.

During an unscheduled inspection visit to the stadium, he assessed the progress of the work, which reflects the governor's determination to restore Kaduna State's status as a leading sports destination in Nigeria. The upgrades aim to provide world-class infrastructure capable of hosting national and international competitions.

Benjamin emphasized the historical significance of the stadium, which has produced numerous athletes representing Nigeria on various global platforms. He noted that the restoration of the stadium would create opportunities to discover and nurture young talent across Kaduna State.
