SwiftTrust Partners with MISS 9JA for ₦10M Prize

SwiftTrust Microfinance Bank Limited has been appointed as the official financial partner for the inaugural MISS 9JA competition. The bank will hold the ₦10,000,000 grand prize and manage the winner’s monthly allowance throughout her 12-month tenure.

This partnership will run until the national finale in Abuja on June 12, 2027. SwiftTrust will also provide banking services to applicants and contestants, allowing them to open accounts and participate in a financial literacy program designed for the 37 State Queens.

However, opening an account is not a requirement for entering the competition or voting. Adenike Isi Adeeko, Founder and Director of Partnerships at MISS 9JA, emphasized the importance of financial literacy over mere branding.

The competition will crown one Queen from each of Nigeria’s 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory, with applications closing on November 30, 2026. Public voting will occur in two rounds, and in-person verification will take place between March 8 and April 2, 2027.

The partnership will not influence the competitive process, as SwiftTrust will not be involved in judging or selecting contestants.
