TASUED Alumni Support New VC Prof. Samuel Oladipo

The alumni association of Tai Solarin University of Education (TASUED) in Ijagun, Ogun State, has pledged to collaborate with the newly appointed Vice Chancellor, Prof. Samuel Oladipo.

In a statement signed by the national president, Bolaji Oladeji, the association expressed heartfelt joy and satisfaction regarding Prof. Oladipo's appointment as the 6th substantive and 3rd indigenous Vice Chancellor of the university.

The alumni described the appointment as timely and a new beginning for the institution, praising Prof. Oladipo's commendable record and dedication to service.

They expressed excitement about his innovative approach and commitment to advancing the university's excellence. The association aims to strategically collaborate with stakeholders to enhance the university's development and has assured continued support for the leadership.

Prof. Oladipo's five-year appointment was announced by the university's governing council on April 21, 2026, following an intensive four-month selection process.

Prior to his appointment, he served as the Director of Research and External Relations and Dean of the College of Special Professional Education.
