Teach For Nigeria Opens Applications for 2026 Fellowship, Emphasizing Vision of Endless Possibilities in Education

Teach For Nigeria (TFN) has officially opened applications for its 2026 Fellowship during a virtual launch event led by CEO Molad Adeniyi. The event highlighted TFN's vision of providing every Nigerian child with access to an excellent education, regardless of background.

The fellowship, marking its 10th cohort, plans to recruit 550 young fellows and 100 school leaders to serve in Lagos and Ogun State. Since its inception in 2017, TFN has placed 2,965 leaders in 6,000 schools, impacting 446,000 learners, with 85% of alumni actively contributing to expanding educational opportunities.

The launch event featured key education stakeholders, including Prof. Abayomi Arigbabu from Ogun State Ministry of Education and Mr.

Victoria Peregrino from Lagos State Teaching Service Commission (TESCOM). Eligible candidates for the fellowship must be Nigerian citizens aged 18-35, hold a university degree with at least a second class honor, and meet other specified criteria.

Benefits include leadership training, professional development opportunities, a stipend, health insurance, and membership in a lifelong network of leaders driving systemic change.
