Federal Ministry of Education Launches Technical Recruitment

The Federal Ministry of Education in Nigeria has initiated a recruitment drive for technical facilitators aimed at improving vocational education across the nation. This initiative is part of a broader effort to transform technical and vocational education and training (TVET) to address the longstanding skills gap and youth unemployment.

Interested applicants must possess relevant qualifications in technical vocational education fields. The application portal will close at 11:59 PM on Monday, March 16, 2026, and late submissions will not be accepted.

The ministry emphasizes that completing the application does not guarantee selection. The recruitment is part of a renewed focus on technical vocational education, with a notable increase in student interest, as evidenced by a rise in TVET entrance examination applications from 7,500 in 2024 to approximately 30,000 in 2025.

Additionally, the ministry, led by Dr. Tunji Alausa, has announced that 42,000 fully registered students will receive a monthly stipend of N22,500 for upkeep and transport.
