Osun State Releases First Batch of Teacher Shortlists

The Osun State government has announced the release of the first batch of shortlisted applicants for recruitment into public primary and secondary schools. This announcement was made through a statement issued on Friday in Osogbo, detailing that successful applicants can check their names online via designated offices, including the Osun State Civil Service Commission, the Ministry of Education, the Osun State Teaching Service Commission, and the Osun State Universal Basic Education Board headquarters.

Kolapo Alimi, the state commissioner, informed that the successful candidates are expected to start collecting their appointment letters on March 9, 2026. Governor Ademola Adeleke congratulated the shortlisted applicants and encouraged them to view this opportunity as a chance to contribute meaningfully to the development of education in the state.

The recruitment exercise is part of the state government's efforts to strengthen the education sector and improve learning outcomes in public schools.
