Lawmaker Urges Minister to Curb Airport Officials' Money Demands

Senator representing Imo West, Osita Izunaso, has called on the Minister of Aviation, Festus Keyamo, to curb the unprofessional conduct of airport officials who engage in soliciting money from travelers. This behavior, including excessive greetings and subtle demands for tips, tarnishes Nigeria's image internationally.

However, the President of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations, Ikem Isiekwena, countered the senator's remarks, praising Keyamo's reforms in the aviation sector. Meanwhile, Mohammed Idris commended the ongoing improvements at Nigeria's entry and exit points.
