Raducanu and Kartal Shine in China Open Third Round Victories

British tennis players Emma Raducanu and Sonay Kartal advance to the third round of the China Open in Beijing. Raducanu faced a tough challenge from unseeded Spaniard Cristina Bucsa but emerged victorious, while Kartal defeated the 14th seed Daria Kasatkina.

Raducanu will now face American fifth seed Jessica Pegula, while Kartal will meet Australian teenager Maya Joint. Raducanu displayed resilience, saving six break points in a competitive first set.

Kartal showcased a powerful performance, securing a win in little over an hour. Raducanu missed a chance to take the lead in the second set but eventually sealed the victory.

This marks Raducanu's return to the court after her loss at the Korea Open.
