Fire Breaks Out at Governor Dauda Lawal's Residence

On Tuesday evening, September 1, 2026, a fire occurred at the official residence of Governor Dauda Lawal located in the Government Reserved Area (GRA) of Gusau. The fire started around 7:20 pm, prompting an immediate response from the Zamfara State Fire Service.

Engr. Bello Sani Gusau, the Executive Secretary of the Zamfara State Fire Service Board, led the firefighting team to the scene. Reports indicate that the fire originated from a security room within the governor's compound.
