Nigerian Army Warns Against Fake Recruitment Notice

The Nigerian Army has cautioned the public about a fraudulent recruitment publication claiming that applications for the 92 Regular Recruitment Intake have begun. This warning was communicated in a statement signed by Captain AU Hammanga, Acting Assistant Director of Army Public Relations, Directorate of Recruitment, and shared on X on Wednesday.

The Army declared the publication as false and advised the public to disregard it entirely. It emphasized that there is a formal procedure for announcing recruitment exercises and that the public will be informed through official channels once the recruitment portal is officially opened.

The Army expressed concerns that fraudsters might exploit the fake notice to deceive job seekers and collect money from unsuspecting applicants. It reaffirmed its commitment to transparency and professionalism in recruitment processes and urged prospective applicants to verify information through official channels before submitting applications or making payments.
