Tension in Port Harcourt as Students Clash in School Fight

Tension gripped parts of Port Harcourt on Wednesday following a clash between students of Borokiri Secondary School, which reportedly caused panic among residents and disrupted activities along Aggrei Road. Ibimina Polo, the chairman of the Community Development Committee (CDC) in the area, expressed concern over the violent actions of the students, describing them as a threat to public peace.

Polo lamented that secondary school students resorting to violence and using dangerous weapons necessitated urgent intervention from security agencies to prevent further breakdown of law and order. The cause of the clash remains unconfirmed, and efforts are underway to reach the principals of the affected schools to determine the reasons behind the confrontation.

The situation has raised alarms in the Aggrei Road area, with no confirmed reports of casualties, and security agencies have yet to issue an official statement regarding the incident.
