NNPP Chieftain Denies Politically Motivated Terrorism and Sharia Allegations Against Kwankwaso

Galadima, a prominent figure in the NNPP, dismisses claims linking former Kano State Governor Rabiu Kwankwaso to terrorism and Sharia law as politically driven. During an interview on Arise Television, Galadima labels the allegations baseless and aimed at thwarting Kwankwaso's potential presidential or vice-presidential aspirations in 2027.

He highlights Kwankwaso's tenure as governor from 2000 to 2003 and his support for ex-President Olusegun Obasanjo despite political consequences. Galadima accuses certain media outlets and politicians of spreading unverified reports to tarnish Kwankwaso's image.

He clarifies that Kwankwaso did not enforce Sharia law strictly during his governance, which eventually led to Ibrahim Shekarau becoming governor. Galadima emphasizes Kwankwaso's efforts in protecting minority groups in Kano State.
