Terrorists Kill Octogenarian in Niger State After Governor's Visit

Terrorists killed an elderly woman, Hajiya Amina Adamu, in Kabe Village, Borgu Local Government Area of Niger State shortly after Governor Moham Bago's condolence visit to the Emir of Borgu, Alhaji Muhammad Haliru Dantoro Kitoro IV. The attack occurred on Tuesday night, with several motorcyclists killing the woman who was carrying food items.

The area has been facing security challenges, with recent killings by bandits. The Niger State Police Command spokesperson, Wasiu Abiodun, is yet to confirm the incident.

Governor Bago has directed security agencies to tackle insecurity in the region.
