Terrorists Kill Three Immigration Officers in Kebbi State Attack

Terrorists believed to be from the Islamic State in the Sahel Province (ISSP) attacked a Nigeria Immigration Service checkpoint in Bagudu Local Government Area of Kebbi State, killing three officers. The officers, including Jerri Audu Hudu and Abba Major, were on duty when the terrorists burnt down their post, vehicles, and stole arms and ammunition.

Prior intelligence from the Department of State Services (DSS) had warned of an impending attack in the area. The NIS is yet to issue an official statement regarding the incident.
