“That Is Rubbish” – EFCC Dismisses Atiku Links, Reveals Real Reason Abdullahi Bashir Haske Was Declared Wanted

The EFCC has dismissed any links between former Vice President Atiku Abubakar and the wanted businessman Abdullahi Bashir Haske, stating that the declaration of Haske as wanted was due to an alleged case of criminal conspiracy and money laundering. The agency urged the public to provide any information on Haske's whereabouts.

However, there have been claims that the case against Haske is politically motivated, which the EFCC spokesperson, Oyewale, debunked as baseless. Oyewale emphasized that the agency has been investigating Haske for many years and that he had jumped bail.

The EFCC encouraged anyone with information on Haske to report to the nearest police station or EFCC office nationwide.
