Ex-Aide Clarifies Exchange Between Adeleke and Tinubu at Oyetola's Event

Dayo Fashola, a former aide to ex-Governor Adegboyega Oyetola of Osun State, defended the first lady, Oluremi Tinubu, following an incident involving Governor Ademola Adeleke during the coronation anniversary of Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi II in Ife. Fashola stated that the exchange between Tinubu and Adeleke was not intended to disparage the governor but to ensure the event concluded on time for attendees to return home safely.

Tinubu's call for a prompt and sensible departure was to address concerns about the safety and orderly exit of guests, especially dignitaries who needed to travel back to various states, including those in the far north.
