Initiates PLC Reports N5 Billion Profit for FY2025

Initiates PLC announced a pre-tax profit of N5.07 billion for the fiscal year 2025, reflecting a significant 147.1% increase from the N2.05 billion recorded in the previous year. This growth was primarily driven by a revenue increase to N11.6 billion, with waste management services contributing N8.7 billion.

The company's operations in Kwale and Port Harcourt generated N2.9 billion despite facing higher costs. Earnings per share rose to N3.81 from N1.55 the previous year.

The cost of sales increased alongside revenue, reaching N5.5 billion compared to N2.1 billion in the prior year. The company recorded an income of N73.8 million mainly from interest received on debt recovery activities, leading to an operational profit of N4.9 billion, which represents a 130.3% increase from the previous year.

The balance sheet showed total assets of N11 billion and total equity rose to N5.7 billion, largely driven by retained earnings of N5 billion.
