Obidient Movement Advocates Obi-Kwankwaso Alliance

The Obidient Movement, represented by Anambra State Coordinator Charl Anueyiagu, is advocating for a political alliance between Peter Obi and Rabiu Kwankwaso, viewing it as a "formidable force" for Nigeria's political landscape. Anueyiagu highlighted that this proposed alliance aims to promote good governance and consolidate support across both northern and southern regions of Nigeria, thereby increasing the chances of electoral success in the 2027 elections.

He noted that the current governance system has failed to meet the expectations of Nigerians, referencing the 2023 presidential election results. Anueyiagu emphasized that a united front, combining the strengths of Obi and Kwankwaso, could lead to better outcomes for the nation.

He called for collective efforts across ethnic lines to pursue accountable leadership and improve governance in Nigeria.
