Obi-Kwankwaso Alliance to Revitalize Nigeria, Says Movement

The Obidient Movement, through its Anambra State coordinator Charl Anueyiagu, has expressed strong support for a joint ticket between Peter Obi and Rabiu Kwankwaso, asserting that this alliance will drive Nigeria's rebirth. During a media briefing in Awka, Anueyiagu urged political movements to consolidate into a single platform to strengthen electoral prospects for the 2027 elections.

He highlighted the importance of merging the Obidient and Kwankwasian movements to enhance support from both northern and southern regions, thereby increasing their chances of electoral success. Anueyiagu noted that the proposed alliance represents a departure from a governance system that has failed to meet Nigerians' expectations.

He referenced the 2023 presidential election, where Obi garnered eight million votes and Kwankwaso received one million, indicating a formidable combined force. Anueyiagu emphasized the need for collective efforts across ethnic lines to restore accountability and improve governance for a better future in Nigeria.
