Three Arrested in Murder of British-Nigerian Singer

The Metropolitan Police confirmed the arrest of three suspects related to the murder of British-Nigerian singer Mark Orabiyi, who was discovered with stab wounds in a garden property near Rayleigh Road on June 5. Despite the efforts of paramedics, the 35-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene.

The identities of the suspects, which include two men and a woman, have not been disclosed. A 27-year-old man has been released on bail pending further inquiries, while a 24-year-old man and a 25-year-old woman were released with no further action taken.

The police are appealing for public assistance to gather information about the incident and are particularly interested in any CCTV footage from the area at the time. Joanna York, the detective chief inspector leading the investigation, expressed condolences to Orabiyi's family, who described him as a beloved brother, uncle, and friend.
