Osun Men Sentenced to Death for Murdering Woman

In Osun State, Nigeria, three men - Muideen Tunji Yusuf, Muslim Rabiu Fatai, and an accomplice - have been sentenced to death by hanging by the Osun State High Court in Iwo for the murder of Asiata Yekeen. The men were convicted of conspiring to murder Yekeen, unlawfully possessing human body parts, and dismembering her.

The case was presided over by Justice Fatimah Sodamad, with prosecution led by Dele Akintayo. The defense team, comprising J.D.

Olaniyan, Adesina Olaniyan, and Bayo Alad, argued against the sufficiency of evidence. The prosecution successfully proved the guilt of the defendants beyond a reasonable doubt.
