Tiger Woods Arrested for DUI After Florida Car Crash

On March 27, golf legend Tiger Woods was arrested in Florida following a car crash that occurred shortly after 2 PM local time. Woods was driving a Land Rover when he attempted to overtake a truck, causing his vehicle to swerve and roll onto its side.

According to John Budensiek from the Martin County Sheriff's Office, Woods underwent a breathalyzer test that returned negative results, but he refused a urinalysis. He remained in jail for at least eight hours before being released on bond for the misdemeanor offense.

No injuries were reported from the incident, which involved a truck that was struck while trying to move aside for Woods' vehicle. This arrest marks Woods' fourth DUI-related incident, following previous arrests in 2009 and 2017.
