Peller Shares Harrowing Experience in Police Detention

Peller, a Nigerian streamer, publicly shared his experience following his release from police detention after four days. He was arrested on July 3, 2026, during a traffic stop in Lagos for allegedly having tinted windows and pointing a gun at police officers.

His arrest sparked mixed reactions on social media, with calls for his release and support from followers. Peller was charged with conspiracy to commit a felony, conduct likely to cause a breach of public peace, and obstructing police officers in the discharge of their duties.

He was granted bail of N500,000 by a Lagos State magistrate court. In a Snapchat post after his release, Peller described his detention as one of the toughest moments of his life, stating he did not eat or bathe during his time in custody.
