Northern Leaders Celebrate Dangote's Time 100 Inclusion

Northern business leaders have praised Aliko Dangote for his inclusion as the sole Nigerian on Time Magazine's 2026 list of the world's 100 most influential people. Alhaji Farouk Suleiman, President of the Kaduna Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (KADCCIMA), emphasized Dangote's pivotal role in reducing Nigeria's import dependency and creating thousands of jobs through large-scale industrial initiatives.

He described Dangote as the backbone of KADCCIMA and noted his significant investments in sectors such as manufacturing, agriculture, and petrochemicals, which have reshaped Nigeria's economy. Nura Madugu from the Manufacturers Association of Nigeria also acknowledged Dangote's visionary leadership and commitment to social impact through his philanthropic efforts, particularly in health and education.

Agabaidu Jideani from the Abuja Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ACCI) highlighted that Dangote's achievements reflect the growing influence of African business leaders on the global stage. The recognition serves as an encouragement for other African business leaders to emulate Dangote's model of excellence.
