Timi Frank Warns of Plot Against ADC Ahead of 2027 Elections

Timi Frank, a former deputy national public secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has raised alarms regarding an alleged plot to remove the African Democratic Congress (ADC) from the ballot ahead of the 2027 general elections. He claims credible information suggests that the ADC is being targeted in a coordinated plan aimed at crippling opposition parties and entrenching the ruling party's power.

Frank specifically mentioned that the objective is to prevent the ADC's presidential candidate, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, from participating in the elections. He urged Nigerians to remain vigilant and monitor the situation closely, describing the actions as a serious threat to democracy.

Frank called on the international community, particularly the United States government, to intervene and prevent a potential democratic crisis in Nigeria, accusing the current administration under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu of abandoning democratic norms and using state institutions to undermine opposition parties.
