Timi Frank Alleges Plot Against Atiku for 2027 Elections

Timi Frank, a former deputy national public secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has expressed serious concerns regarding an alleged plot to prevent Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, the presidential candidate of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), from participating in the 2027 general elections. Frank claims that credible information suggests that elements within the judiciary and the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) are coordinating efforts to remove the ADC from the ballot, thereby crippling opposition parties and entrenching the ruling party's power.

He warns that this attempt to exclude the ADC represents a significant assault on democracy in Nigeria, potentially leading to chaos and anarchy. Frank has called on Nigerians to remain vigilant and monitor these developments closely, urging the international community, particularly the United States government, to intervene and prevent a democratic crisis.

He also cautioned INEC and the judiciary against becoming accomplices in this alleged anti-democratic plot.
