Tinubu Swears in New Ministers for Power and Foreign Affairs

On Monday, Bola Tinubu administered the oath of office to two new ministers at the Council Chamber of the State House in Abuja. Joseph Olasunkanmi Tegb was appointed as Minister of Power, while Sola Enikanolaiy became Minister of State for Foreign Affairs.

This ceremony followed the resignation of former Minister of Foreign Affairs, Yusuf Tuggar, and Minister of Power, Adebayo Adelabu, as they further their political careers. Joseph Olasunkanmi Tegb, born in Ibadan, Oyo State, is a renowned fiscal economist and reform strategist with 35 years of experience across the public and private sectors.

He holds a first-class degree in Civil Engineering from Obafemi Awolowo University and has worked with KPMG Africa. Sola Enikanolaiy, from Igbagun, Kogi State, has a distinguished diplomatic career spanning 35 years, including serving as Nigeria's head mission in New Delhi, India.

He holds a first-class degree in Political Science from Ahmadu Bello University and has received several merit awards.
