Tinubu appoints 2 FCC chairpersons in 24 hours

President Tinubu appointed two new chairpersons for the Federal Character Commission within 24 hours, replacing Dr. Muheeba Dankaka.

Dr. Dankaka was reappointed as the Executive Chairman for a second term, along with Mohammed Musa as the Commission's secretary.

Other key appointments include Kayode Oladele as the Ogun commissioner and Lawal Ya'u Roni, Abubakar Atiku Bunu, and Eludayo Eluyemi representing Jigawa, Kebbi, and Osun States respectively. Additionally, Abdulwasiu Kayode Bawalla was reappointed as the commissioner for Lagos State.

The list of newly appointed commissioners includes representatives from various states such as Abia, Adamawa, Akwa Ibom, Anambra, and others. The appointments aim to ensure fair representation and adherence to federal character principles within the Commission.
