Tinubu approves appointment of new DG of Citizenship and Leadership Training Centre

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has approved the appointment of Rinsola Abiola as the new Director-General of the Citizenship and Leadership Training Centre (CLTC). The move is aimed at strengthening the leadership initiative of the center.

The announcement was made by Bayo Onanuga, the special adviser to the president on information strategy, in a statement released on Monday. Abiola, an expert in strategic communication and government relations, previously served as a Senior Special Assistant to the President.

In addition to Abiola's appointment, President Tinubu also appointed Nasir Bala Aminu Ja'oji as the Senior Special Assistant on Citizenship and Leadership. Ja'oji brings experience as a Special Adviser on Mobilization in the Governor's Office in Kano State and as a member of the Governing Council of Coordinated Arewa Youth Groups.

The statement highlighted President Tinubu's commitment to women and youth empowerment and development.
