Tinubu arrives in Dubai on brief stopover ahead of Japan, Brazil trip (VIDEO)

President Bola Tinubu made a brief stopover in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, on his way to Japan and Brazil for a working visit. He arrived at Dubai's Al Maktoum International Airport on Friday, departing from Abuja earlier in the day.

According to his spokesman, Bayo Onanuga, Tinubu's first major stop will be in Yokohama, Japan, where he is scheduled to attend the Ninth Tokyo International Conference on African Development (TICAD9) from August 20 to 22. The conference, themed "Innovative Solutions for Africa," aims to explore strategies for driving economic transformation in Africa, attracting private investment, and building a resilient and sustainable continent.

After his visit to Japan, Tinubu will proceed to Brazil as the second leg of his working trip.
