Tinubu Celebrates Erogbogbo's 100th Birthday Milestone

President Bola Tinubu celebrated the 100th birthday of Alhaji Ashafa Erogbogbo, a retired aviation supervisor at Shell Companies Nigeria Limited, in a statement signed on Wednesday. Tinubu described reaching the age of 100 as a rare milestone and a blessing, highlighting Erogbogbo's disciplined, dedicated, and selfless service to the nation.

The President joined Erogbogbo's family in thanking God for his century-long journey and contributions to national development over the years. He commended Erogbogbo's professional diligence and commitment to excellence during his tenure at Shell.

Tinubu also noted Erogbogbo's role as a respected community leader in Ikorodu, Lagos State, and acknowledged his wisdom and exemplary lifestyle, which continue to inspire younger generations. Furthermore, Tinubu mentioned that Erogbogbo is the father of Abike Dabiri-Erewa, the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the Nigerian Diaspora Commission, and expressed joy for the centenarian's sharp mind and warm spirit.

He anticipates the release of a life story titled "Echoes of Grace" to mark this significant birthday.
