Tinubu Honors Ogoni Heroes with Posthumous National Awards

President Bola Tinubu has posthumously conferred national honors on four Ogoni heroes, as revealed in a video posted by Dada Olusegun, the special assistant to Tinubu. The honorees, part of the Ogoni consultation dialogue committee led by Rivers state governor Siminalayi Fubara, were recognized for their contributions.

The ceremony took place at the State House Council Chambers in Abuja, with the honorees bestowed with the Commander of the Order of the Niger (CON). The event signaled progress in Ogoniland, with plans for employment initiatives and an environmental technology park.

Governor Fubara pledged support for the committee's work, emphasizing the importance of community cooperation.
