Tinubu Celebrates Obi of Onitsha's 85th Birthday

President Bola Tinubu congratulated Igwe Nnaemeka Achebe, the Obi of Onitsha, on the occasion of his 85th birthday. In a statement issued on Sunday by his Special Adviser on Media and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, Tinubu described Achebe as a revered monarch and a symbol of unity and grace.

He highlighted Achebe's distinguished career in the corporate sector, particularly his role as a director at Shell Petroleum Company Nigeria, and commended his contributions to peacebuilding, youth development, and socio-economic advancement. Tinubu acknowledged Achebe's long service in corporate leadership and his efforts to strengthen relationships between communities and government institutions.

He joined the royal family and the people of Onitsha in wishing Achebe continued good health and strength as he provides leadership to the community and the nation.
