Delborough Lagos Celebrates Obi of Onitsha's 85th Birthday

Delborough Lagos celebrated the 85th birthday of Obi of Onitsha, Igwe Nnaemeka Ugochukwu, with a grand dinner party on June 20, 2026. The event was marked by the presence of dignitaries such as former President Chief Olusegun Obasanjo, Lagos State Governor Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu, and NDC presidential candidate Mr.

Peter Obi. The celebration included cultural dance displays from various groups and was hosted by Charles Oputa, also known as Area Fada or Charley Boy.

The event featured Michelin-star chef Sauro Bison, who provided a world-class dining experience, marking the first time he showcased his culinary skills on African soil. The entire management and staff of Delborough Lagos participated in honoring the royal majesty, creating a vibrant atmosphere for the celebration.
