Tinubu Congratulates Kano, FCT, Rivers Election Winners

President Bola Tinubu congratulated the winners of the recent elections held in Kano, the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), and Rivers State. In a statement issued by his special adviser on strategic communications, Bayo Onanuga, Tinubu described the victories as a call to serve the people with humility and dedication.

He urged the newly elected officials to honor the trust placed in them by the electorate. Tinubu commended the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, for his achievements in translating political dividends into progress.

He recognized the victories of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in these regions as a reflection of the people's trust and the strength of democratic institutions. Furthermore, he praised the role of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and security personnel in ensuring a peaceful and credible electoral process, affirming that the elections strengthen Nigeria's democratic culture and institutions.

Tinubu called on INEC to continue improving its efforts to deliver exemplary electoral processes in the future.
