APC Responds to Aregbesola's Statement on Tinubu's Presidency

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has replied to former Osun State Governor Rauf Aregbesola's statement regarding Bola Tinubu's presidency, asserting that Tinubu's presidency was not accidental. The Lagos State chapter of the APC dismissed Aregbesola's defection from the party, stating that it will not determine the 2023 elections.

The party's spokesman, Oladejo, argued that Aregbesola's remarks were aimed at pushing an academic victory for the opposition during the 2023 presidential elections. The APC in Lagos insisted on the necessity of placing facts on record to correct any sweeping conclusions or convenient omissions in Aregbesola's statement.
