Tinubu Directs Nationwide Rice Distribution for Ramadan

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has instructed the Renew Hope Ambassador Support Group to carry out a nationwide distribution of rice to support Nigerians observing Ramadan and Lent. This directive was disclosed in a statement on Saturday by Hope Uzodinma, the Governor of Imo State and Director General of the support group.

The initiative aims to promote national unity and provide support to citizens during this spiritually significant period for both Muslims and Christians. Uzodinma noted that the rice distribution will utilize the group's grassroots network to ensure that families across the country benefit.

This program follows a similar initiative implemented during the Christmas period, where rice was distributed to support Nigerians during the festive season. Uzodinma emphasized that this effort reflects the administration's ongoing commitment to supporting citizens during key religious and cultural celebrations, highlighting the President's focus on inclusivity and national unity.
