Tinubu Celebrates Imaan Sulaiman-Ibrahim's 46th Birthday

President Bola Tinubu congratulated Imaan Sulaiman-Ibrahim, the Minister of Women Affairs, on her 46th birthday, describing her as a steady hand in public service. In a statement signed by his Special Adviser on Strategic Communication, Bayo Onanuga, Tinubu commended Sulaiman-Ibrahim's public service record, which reflects a consistent pattern of strengthening institutions and delivering measurable progress.

He emphasized the importance of clarity and discipline in leadership, particularly in the Ministry of Women Affairs, which focuses on protecting and providing opportunities for vulnerable groups. Sulaiman-Ibrahim, born on April 19, 1980, has over two decades of experience in public service and has held various roles, including Director General of the National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons from December 2020 to May 2021.

She was appointed Nigeria's first female Minister of State for Police Affairs in August 2023 and reassigned to the Women Affairs portfolio following a cabinet reshuffle in October 2024.
