Tinubu Celebrates Team Nigeria's Success at Commonwealth Games

President Bola Tinubu expressed his congratulations to Team Nigeria for their remarkable performance at the Commonwealth Games, which concluded recently in Glasgow, Scotland. In a statement released on Tuesday by his Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, Tinubu commended the athletes for their resilience, determination, discipline, and excellence, which he stated exemplify the Nigerian spirit.

Team Nigeria secured a total of 24 medals, comprising 10 gold, 7 silver, and 7 bronze, showcasing their hard work and perseverance. Tinubu emphasized that the experience gained by the athletes would serve as a strong foundation for future international competitions and inspire young Nigerians to embrace commitment and national service.

He also praised the leadership of the Nigeria Olympic Committee and the National Sports Commission for their dedication to sports development. Tinubu urged the athletes to remain focused on excellence and expressed appreciation to all individuals involved in Nigeria's participation at the Games.
