Tinubu Condemns Killings in Plateau and Kaduna States

President Bola Tinubu condemned the recent attacks in Plateau and Kaduna states, specifically referring to the killings in the Angwan Rukuba district of Plateau State and the Kahir Village in Kagarko Local Government Area, Kaduna State. In a statement issued on Tuesday, Tinubu described the attacks as barbaric and cowardly, asserting that such acts will not go unpunished.

He urged security agencies to intensify their efforts in pursuing the perpetrators and cautioned the media against spreading misinformation that could inflame tensions. Tinubu reaffirmed the importance of public cooperation in maintaining peace and protecting lives and property.

He commended the efforts of Governor Caleb Mutfwang of Plateau State and Governor Uba Sani of Kaduna State in managing the situation and supporting rescue efforts. The President also called for proactive measures from security agencies to prevent further attacks and emphasized the need for timely intelligence to rescue the abducted individuals from Kahir Village.
