Tinubu Condemns Plateau, Kaduna Killings; Vows Justice

President Bola Tinubu condemned the recent attacks by gunmen in Plateau and Kaduna states, which he described as barbaric and unacceptable. The attacks occurred in Angwan Rukuba district and Jo Kahir Village in Kagarko Local Government Area, resulting in several reported deaths and abductions, including that of wedding guests.

In a statement issued by his special adviser, Bayo Onanuga, Tinubu assured Nigerians that justice would be served for those who commit such heinous acts. He emphasized that security agencies must intensify their efforts to track down the perpetrators and curb the spread of misinformation that could escalate tensions.

Tinubu also urged the media to avoid suggesting that the attacks were religiously motivated. He commended the efforts of Plateau State Governor Caleb Mutfwang and Kaduna State Governor Uba Sani in managing the crisis and supporting rescue operations.

The President expressed condolences to the victims' families and reiterated the government's commitment to strengthening security operations across the country.
