Lawmaker Criticizes Disparity in Justice for Nnamdi Kanu Compared to Others

Obi Aguocha, a lawmaker from Abia State, accused President Buhari of subjecting Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of IPOB, to dehumanization while granting clemency to individuals convicted of serious crimes like drug trafficking and murder. Aguocha criticized the administration for allegedly discriminating against the Igbo ethnic group.

He pointed out the disparity in treatment between Kanu, who is still in detention despite not being convicted, and those pardoned by Bola Tinubu. Aguocha urged the Igbo community to speak up against such injustices, even through peaceful protests.
